WASTE COLLECTION IN TOWNSHIP: PennWaste phone 767-4456. Township residents must set up their own account with PennWaste. Recycle bins can be obtained at the township office.  Waste collection service is provided on Wednesdays.
 

To set up waste collection for your residence you must call Penn Waste and set up your own service. Penn Waste can be reached at 717-767-4456 or 866-575-8720 (toll free) you can also visit the website at www.pennwaste.com. Recycle bins must be picked up at the township office. There will be a recycle bin allotted to each home and we will provide the first one free.  A replacement container is at a cost of $10.00.  If you have excess trash, you can purchase a Penn Waste trash bag at a cost of $3.50 each, at the township office.
 
Recycle Bins This is the time of the year that the wind whips up and the temperatures drop to a very low number.  That is when recycling bins either disappear or crack and break.  All homes are provided with a recycle bin, each new home will receive a recycle bin.  To replace a missing or broken bin the township office must charge $10.00.  We have to purchase the bins to have on hand for replacements, the bins cost the township $10.00.  WE DO NOT PROFIT FROM THESE BINS!

We are conveniently located off of Rt. 116 in the South Central part of York County.
These products may be brought to our facility during daylight hours, 7 days a week.

DIRECTIONS:

From Harrisburg, take Interstate 83 South to Route 30 West (Exit 22). Take Route 30 West to Route 116. Take Route 116 West to the traffic circle. Take the second road out of the circle (Hanover Street). Go approximately 1 mile our facility on the right hand side. Follow the signs to our dump location.

From Baltimore, take Interstate 83 North to Route 30 West (Exit 21-B). Take Route 30 West to Route 116. Take Route 116 West to the traffic circle. Take the second road out of the circle (Hanover Street). Go approximately 1 mile our facility on the right hand side. Follow the signs to our dump location.

From Gettysburg, take Route 30 to traffic circle in Abbottstown. Take first exit out of circle (Rt. 194 South). Go to first traffic signal and turn left onto Moulstown Road (Moulstown Road will eventually turn into Old Hanover Road). Go approximately 6 miles to our facility on the left hand side. Follow the signs to our dump location.
